Steps to Volunteering with Eco Warriorz

The process to becoming a volunteer Eco Warrior includes videos, fun zoom trainings and deposits.

It’s important that we gather all the information needed carefully and hold it securely, so this year we have upgraded to a new admin system called ‘Groop‘! This helps us take care of your registration process better, and it’s now easier for you to apply to multiple festivals, get your deposit back quicker and with no fees deducted!

The steps below explain the process…and if you’re stuck, lost or have any questions you can always message our friendly admin on 07498 482298!

1. ✍️ REGISTRATION
   • Register online with your name and email address via https://www.ecowarriorz.org.uk/apply
   • You get an email to approve your registration & ask you some more questions, and to submit a video!
     
2. 🎥 VIDEO
   • Upload your 1 minute video application, telling us about why you would make a great Eco Warrior.
   • Select which events you want to go to!
     
3. 🎓 TRAINING
   • If your video is approved, you’ll be invited to a WhatsApp group for Eco Warriorz chat, and to attend a 1 hr volunteer training session on Zoom!
   • In the Zoom call, we go over presentation slides about what we do at campsites, what’s expected from you and what you get as a volunteer. We share the slides with you afterwards – and there’s a Q&A section at the end.
     
4. 🤑 DEPOSIT
   • Once you’ve been trained, you will be sent an invitation to an event in Groop to pay your deposit of £250.
     
5. ♻️ FESTIVAL 🥳 (woop!)
   • We have a WhatsApp group for each event, where we can talk about plans for the festival, get excited and perhaps organise lift-shares!
   • You’ll be told all the important information like where to meet and your shift times before you head to the site.
   • Attend all your shifts at the festival (and have a great time!!)
     
6. 👍 FINISHED!
   • We’ll return 100% of your deposit within 2-3 weeks, and send a feedback form so you can let us know about your experience.
